Course Objectives: -

• Foundation course to understand the theory and principle of operation of gas treatment and producing facilities within Oil / Gas field operations.
• To encourage correct, safe and efficient operation of the gas treatment plants in Oil/ Gas fields.
• To develop the technique of process analysis and trouble shooting in the gas plant operations.

• Inlet separation:
• Wellhead separators, Filter separators
• Gas sweetening:
• Alkanolamine absorption process, SulFerox treatment process
• Gas dehydration:
• Water in natural gas, Glycol absorption & regeneration
• How to care for glycol
• NGL Removal:
• Refrigeration process, JT process, Turbo-expansion process
• Liquid handling:
• Stabilisation , Fractionation
• Pre and post course assessment
